How WikiGlance Works

All actions happen locally within your browser. Specifically:

  • When you select text, WikiGlance uses the Wikipedia public API to fetch a summary.

  • This API call is made directly from your browser to Wikipedia.

  • The results are displayed in a popup or overlay without sending any data back to us.

No data ever leaves your browser to reach our servers.
